Rob Yates Arrives in Louisville

Welcome Rob Yates as the Gallery's 2010-2011 Intern Manager!

We are delighted to welcome Robert O. Yates as our fifth Intern Manager. Rob hails from Toccoa, Georgia, and will graduate in May from Bryan College in Dayton, Tennessee, with a BA in English literature and minor in the Bible. In addition to stellar academic credentials, Rob brings to the Gallery his deep experience in dramatic arts, filmmaking, and working with middle-school-age children. Says Gallery director Helen Aikman, "This year we had the most impressive field of candidates in our history. Rob fits perfectly into the Intern Manager tradition, and I am certain he will make his mark. We couldn't be happier to have him." Rob arrives in Louisville on April 16 - just in time for the Arts Guild's spring exhibit. Stop by to wish him well!

Dec. 4-6 -- Gallery visit for selected candidates
Dec. 23 -- Public announcement of 2010-2011 Intern Manager
Apr. 1 - June 1 -- Training and work begin depending on availability of new Intern Manager
