Ideas APart

An Array of Artwork by Jefferson County High School's First AP Art Class

Tiesha Cunningham

In the work featured here I chose to work in a surrealist manner. I enjoy Surrealism because I am free to explore dream life fantasies.

As I grew deeper into my work I began to grow and my artwork began to develop into something more. My artwork expanded from Surrealism to landscaping which would be included into my next two art pieces judge by College Board. Throughout my art experiences I have enjoyed working with various media. My favorite medium so far would have to be pastels because pastels give me the greatest advantage of separating my lightness from darkness (plus it’s not always bad to get your hands dirty in a while.) Pastels give me that finished look.
