Samantha Kitchens My work is based on landscapes and how I can
create different types of textures. The piece here on the web
site, The cabins on the hill, is more of an experiment with the
different textures that you see on the hill and in the sky. My
other two pieces that will be in the exhibit also deal with
different textures and different mediums. In the first of the
other two, one is a picture of a garden gate, with shrubs on
both sides, with a beautiful blue sky. In the other picture I
have two hands done in black making a frame of a sunset. The
reason that I chose to do landscapes was to capture the beauty
of nature. |
