Ideas APart An Array of Artwork by Jefferson County High School's First AP Art Class |
|||||||||
Anthony Freeman My work has evolved from many different topics ranged from surrealism to realism. My main focus is surrealism which is shown in my dragon man piece. I am very proud of this piece because it turned out the way I had pictured it in my mind. The use of colors and texture was just what I wanted for this piece. My second piece that will be featured in the exhibit is a very dark figure grasping a small sword. This, by far, is my favorite piece because it was my first time experience with paint. I tried not to give it a distinct outline and tried to make the colors blend into one another. There are parts of my piece where I gave a strong outline. My third and final piece is a detailed drawing
of a bird dog. I wanted to capture the way it stood and I wanted
to get every little detail ranging from its muscles to its
facial features. So far, my work has turned out to surprise me
because I am producing a lot of wonderful pieces and I hope it
continues.
